Terms and conditions
Last updated: 3 November 2026
These terms apply when you use VisitBite, whether you are a business that signs up ("Business") or a customer who orders or joins a loyalty programme ("Customer"). By using the service you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@visitbite.app.
1. The service
VisitBite provides digital loyalty programmes (stamps, coins, scratch cards, referrals and rewards), and for food businesses QR table ordering, a kitchen display and GST billing. We may improve, change or remove features over time. We will give reasonable notice of changes that take away something you rely on.
2. Business accounts
- You must give accurate business details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for what your staff do with their accounts.
- You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business.
- You are responsible for your menu, prices, taxes, GST registration and invoices, and for meeting food safety and consumer laws.
3. Loyalty programmes
- Each Business sets and runs its own programme: the stamp goal, coin rates, rewards, prizes and any terms. The Business, not VisitBite, is responsible for honouring rewards it offers.
- Stamps, coins and rewards have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and can be used only at the Business that issued them.
- A Business may change or end its programme. It should give members fair notice and a chance to use balances they have earned.
- Reward codes can be used once and expire if not used in time. We may cancel stamps, coins or rewards gained through fraud, such as fake check-ins or misuse of purchase QRs.
4. Ordering and payments
Orders placed by QR are a contract between the Customer and the Business. Online payments are processed by Razorpay into the Business's own Razorpay account, under Razorpay's terms. Refunds for food or services are handled by the Business.
5. Plans and fees
New businesses start with a free trial. Current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. When the trial ends, your account moves to the default plan. If you have set up autopay, fees are charged in advance for each billing period through Razorpay until you cancel. If a payment fails, you get a short grace period, after which the dashboard is paused until the subscription is paid. We will give notice before changing the price of your plan. See our refund policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use VisitBite to break the law, send spam, collect data without consent, interfere with the service or access another business's data.
7. Your data
Businesses own their customer and sales data. You can export members as CSV at any time. We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy. Each Business must have a lawful basis for the customer data it collects and must respect customers' rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Availability and liability
We work hard to keep VisitBite available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit.
9. Ending the service
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after notice where reasonable. After closing, you have 30 days to export your data.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute, which we will first try to settle by talking to you.
